She earned her Ph.D. in Music Theory and History from UConn. Laura has performed as a recitalist, soloist with orchestra, and chamber musician throughout the United States and Canada. She is the music director at Park Congregational Church and runs the "Sundays in the Parlor" chamber music series. She also is a music professor at UConn.
